1st YOUNG ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

• It is awarded to scientists under the age of 45 who make significant contributions to our field with their scientific research and studies.
• The main criteria for selecting candidates are the Web of Science-based h-index and the number of publications included in the 1st and 2nd name index. The impact factors of the journals published in the 1st and 2nd name publications are collected.
• Applications must be sent with a file prepared electronically.
• The deadline for nomination or application is February 9, 2024.
• Adaylar arasından seçim, bilimsel komite tarafından yapılır ve YK tarafından onaylanır.
• The award is given to only one person per year. The award may not be given in years where there are no suitable candidates.
• The amount of the prize money to be given is determined every year. (10,000 TL for 2024)
• The winning researcher is given a cash prize and a certificate.
• The award is announced at the congress opening ceremony.
• Candidates who wish may object to the result.

2nd RESEARCH ARTICLE PUBLICATION AWARD

• It is awarded to a research article conducted in Turkey and published in foreign SCI or SCI-e journals.
• Applications are evaluated by the jury, taking into account the impact factor of the journal. The article must have been published within the last 2 years.
• It is given to 3 works every year and announced as first, second and third place awards.
• The study must be prepared by the researcher's own efforts, be original and contribute to the field of respiratory diseases.
• Applications are made online by candidates.
• In individual applications for studies published with the participation of more than one researcher, the candidate must obtain the signed approvals of the other researchers.
• The deadline for nomination or application is February 9, 2024.
• Selection among candidates is made by the scientific committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
• The amount of prize money to be given is determined by the association every year. (8000 TL, 7000 TL, 6000 TL for 2024)
• The winning scientist is given a cash prize and a certificate.

3RD ORAL PRESENTATION AWARD

• It is given during the closing of the congress.
• Awarded to the best 3 works.
• Award-winning works are given a certificate.
• The first three oral presentations selected among the oral presentations will be given 8000 TL, 7000 TL, 6000 TL monetary awards and certificates for 2024.

4th POSTER PRESENTATION AWARD

• It is given during the closing of the congress.
• Awarded to the best 3 works.
• Award-winning works are given a certificate.
• The first three poster presentations selected among the poster presentations will be given 6000 TL, 5000 TL, 4000 TL monetary awards and certificates for 2024.

5. SCHOLARSHIPS

A certain number of physical participation scholarships will be given to physicians whose papers are accepted this year. NLHC Association membership is mandatory for physicians applying for scholarships, depending on their branch.
